Description
Data
The CyanoView series uses a cyan LED light source specially developed to efficiently excite ethidium bromide (EtBr), which is difficult to detect with conventional blue LED systems.
It enables gel band excision and imaging of EtBr-stained gels with sensitivity comparable to UV transilluminators, while avoiding UV-induced nucleic acid damage. This helps improve nucleic acid recovery after gel extraction.
In addition to EtBr, the system is also compatible with fluorescent dyes excited by blue or green LED light sources, including SYBR Green, SYPRO Ruby, and Pro-Q Diamond.
